Galenika Fitofarmacija was founded in 1955 and the first product 'Monosan' was produced in 1956. Today, the Company is engaged in production of herbicides, zoocides, fungicides, insecticides, rhodonticides and means for foliar nutrition.
Galenika provides one fifth of pesticides need in agriculture by its 3,500 tons of formulated products. Galenika's production programme also consists of numerous practical supplements, which will help the users in applying the products, as that advises were based on the practical knowledge.
The Company has four sectors: Production, Marketing, Sales and Administration with about 150 employees, in total.
Until 1991, Galenika Fitofarmacija was within Galenika Holding and since November 1997, Galenika is a joint-stock company.
Galenika Fitofarmacija has a partnership with several multinational corporations like Dow AgroSciences, Syngenta, FMC, Crompton, Jining, United Phosphorus; sixty six brands are placed on the market with these companies and are based on selling final and formulated products.
Galenika's shares are listed on the Belgrade Stock Exchange.
